Preferably one that can do all gearbox/transfer case jobs. 👍

Early or late gearbox? The correct ones are best. The only tricky ones are in the transfer case. And any blind hole puller set with some mods can work.

I would have thought from a puller point of view they would be all the same?

I'm not sure a 'set' would be the most economical way to go here. It will almost certainly have a lot of pullers & adaptors that you just don't need for doing Mini Gearboxes. If you see yourself using it for other jobs then sure. For me doing work on Minis and Mokes, I saw there was only 3 pullers I needed, so that was all I ever bought.
It may be too that a set could work out cheaper than 'loose tools' but usually buying them individually you can get a better quality. The one thing I learned early on that was more frustrating than not having the tool was poor quality tools that would let me down when I needed them.
