Has anyone used either of these?

Am i right in thinking they screw into the door card clips that have been pre drilled to accept the screws? Or straight to the door? Also the bolt on bits one looks like they enclose the speaker section to avoid damage to the speakers?

What have people used for conduit to protect the wires?

Any advice welcome. Cheers

I”ve had them on mine for many years.
They fitted into the same screw holes as the OEM shelf did.
I used fabric sleeves and grommets for the wiring, because I have central locking, too.

My doors never had door bins as standard, more of a pocket of vinyl that couldn't fit anything in. Using optimise ones now. And definitely didn't have central locking lol

I have a pair of these that I need to dig out and sell, they're the Boltonbits ones as in post #1 but with a chrome trim around the top edge of the bin. I also have some speakers.

I have a set and am very happy with them. The edges of the top are a bit sharp so buy some silver U trim off ebay and you're sorted.  Boltonbits used to sell a version with the chrome trim already fitted, but haven't seen them for a while. Just be careful not to kick your speaker as you get in and out.

Mine have a separate plastic piece that separates the speaker from the pocket. They fix through the door card into the door, using the original pocket hole if they exist.  I've drilled a small hole in the speaker end of mine, used a grommet and some spirap cable binding to take the cables behind the footwell carpet, leaving enough for flex as the door does it's thing.

Also, I have alfa seats, a bit wider than the standard ones. How wide are the pockets for clearance purposes? Cheers
