Hallo Mini Forum Gemeinde,
 

im Laufe der letzten 50 Jahre entschied ich mich 4 mal dazu, dem "normalen Auto fahren" den Rücken zuzuwenden und stattdessen wieder mal eine Zeit lang einen Mini-Cooper durch die Kurven zu lenken. Man muss einfach Mini-Cooper gefahren sein, um diese Entscheidung verstehen zu können. 

 

Wie Ihr sehen könnt, habe ich mich mit den Jahren stets weiter entwickelt  

1976 - gebrauchten Morris Mini (34 PS - 850 ccm³)

1978 - gebrauchten Mini 1001 Innocenti  (48 PS - 1000 ccm³)

2002 - gebrauchten Mini 1300 Innocenti  (63 PS - 1275 ccm³)

2004 - ein nagelneues Mini Cabriolet (63 PS - 1275 ccm³)

 

Aber alt zu werden verlangt auch Opfer zu bringen und um es ehrlich auszusprechen, der Mini-Cooper gehört leider nicht mehr zu meinem Favoritenkreis, einfach zu unbequem und viel zu tief liegend für die alten Knochen. Ich entschied mich vor  14 Jahren zum Kauf eines damals 2 Jahre alten Audi 3 Diesel. Zwischenzeitig hat der nun auch schon 200 000 km auf dem Tacho und verrichtet seine Arbeit noch immer tadellos. Ich kann nur hoffen, dass mir die Ampel-Chaoten aus Berlin keinen Strich durch die Rechnung machen werden und auch noch das Fahren eines Dieselautos verbieten.

 

Der Grund, weshalb ich mich an das Forum wende:
ich habe beim Aufräumen meiner Garage einen Karton entdeckt  ...  Rover Mini Toolbox KBE 100040 

Im Nachhinein kann ich mich wieder daran erinnern, das Teil beim Kauf meines Cabriolets unbedingt dazu kaufen zu müssen, keine Ahnung weshalb. Nach Recherchen im Internet ist dieses Teil wohl zwischenzeitig als Rarität einzustufen.

 

Ich würde gerne mehr darüber erfahren, vielleicht gibt es ja auch den einen oder anderen im Forum, der mir dabei helfen kann oder eventuell auch selbst Interesse an der Toolbox hat.

A lot phrases looks to appear like English sentences translated by google or deepl. No sane german would write in this way, not even Grandpa...

 

And than there are the questions marks about the content or details:

- Maybe an Audi 3 Diesel could be a A3 Diesel?

- As far as I'm aware the Toolbox was only offered as accessory for the MPI? But I'm not so firm in that topic, but couldn't find a accessory brochure containing it before 1997

 

- a "brand new" Mini Cabriolet in 2004?

 

They were out of production since late 1996 (maybe early 1997) 

Even as they were very expansive in germany (You also could got a Ford Mondeo for this money - bone stock, with no extras, but the starting price for a Ford Mondeo was about the same), I could not imagine one sitting for about 10 years and if, they would not be able to be registered after 2000 due to safety regulations...

 

In my 12 years of Mini Cabriolet careerer I did not see any used examples that has that low mileage in the beginning - but also don't know all 200 - 300 Rover Mini Cabriolets in germany in person

Ich habe bislang schon viele Autos besessen. Im Nachhinein nun aufzuzählen, in welchem Jahr diese Fahrzeug von mir gekauft / gefahren wurden,

bekomme ich leider nicht mehr zu 100 Prozent auf die Reihe, zumal keinerlei Unterlagen mehr vorhanden sind.

 

Allerdings sind Deine Zweifel an meiner Aussage bezüglich des Erwerbes meines Mini-Cabriolets im Jahr 2004 mehr als berechtigt, zumal bereits im Jahr 2000/2001 die gesamte Produktion des Mini-Coopers eingestellt wurde. 

 

Deshalb möchte ich mich bei Dir und dem gesamten Forum in aller Form entschuldigen, war keinesfalls absichtlich. Was hätte ich davon?

 

Nachträglich stellte ich fest, dass ich im Jahr 2003 einen neuen Rover 25  2.0D gekauft habe und diesen über einen Zeitraum von 3 Jahren gefahren bin.

Auch deshalb können meine Angaben zum Mini-Cabrio nicht korrekt  sein...  

 

An der Tatsache aber, all die aufgeführten Mini-Cooper gekauft und gefahren zu haben, ändert sich dennoch nichts - und darum geht es doch letztendlich.
