Hi all,

Cam timing is set.

New belt and seals fitted to a belt drive kit that came without paperwork. The sprocket is locked with 6 x M5 bolts. How tight do they need to be? They are currently nipped up by hand. We’re nervous of going too tight and stripping out the threads!

Thanks

First question is wha5 are they screwing into? That has an affect. What size are they? That can give you a standard figure for a certain material.

what does the manual say. That will be the correct info for the thread type and the material.
