Hi all, anyone know how a heritage mk1 quarter panel fits, someone else removed the original one and not sure if the new one overlaps the part of the b post, it almost looks like the quarter panel and b post were all one, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi, yes that would make sense,so if I overlap the return lip on the new panel over the inside edge of the b post then i am effectively narrowing the door opening so I think the best way is to cut the lip on the b post and butt weld the quarter panel to it, this would sort  of confirm that I thought the quarter panel had to move 2-3 mm rearward, hope this makes sense as it is very hard to explain, thanks alot
