Hello

I'm living in south France... 

All my apologies for my poor English

Who I am ? A young man (particly young, not so in fact   living in south France

Been mechanics for motorbikes in an other live ! 

I've started with mopeds, beetle, VW Rabbit MK1 etc etc

Now I've got an old 1975 mini that's why I'm here, al lot miss filed parts etc 

I've allays had vintage bike and cars ! my first car was a vintage VW, the second was older than me ! a 59 bug

For me the mini is as crazy and clever as the 2CV Citroën for different reasons, but they share one point : the fantastic handling

Hi Mike, Welcome to TMF, your in the right climate for your mini well better than the UK anyway,I don't agree with you on the comparison of the 2cv and the mini handling though not unless your mini has something drastically wrong with the suspension !
Any chance of some pictures ? I love motorcycles, always have but haven't ridden one since for since having a stroke 7years ago, still got my bike though a 1990 VFR 750, enjoy your mini because that's what they are for , they produce nearly as many smiles per mile as riding a motorcycle.
