Hi
My minispares starter needs replacement pinion - the teeth are shredded.

Any pointers on where I might get a replacement pinion please ?

I have replaced with a standard one but even from mew it’s struggling as mine is not a standard engine - hence the pricey upgrade motor that now needs the pinion replaced-

Thanks

Talk to MiniSpares. Or if you know the make reach out to the maker.

Wosp do replacement pinions, also they can be found on Ebay, they usually have dimensions so should be able to match something up

I believe the ones MiniSpares sell are Powerlite units, so they would be a good first port of call for spares.

I seem to remember the aftersales is quite good and they will service and repair I think.

Update-

Thanks to everyone here I was able to find the pinion for my starter motor- it turned out to be one I bought through Mini speed - (now closedown) the motor is part no lms 11 - it’s a Denso starter motor and the part no for the pinion is LMPK 0929s -CW- auto electrical spares who are agents for WOSP were amazing - helpful and identified my starter from a photo I sent them - thanks for forum help. It saved me binning a £200 + plus starter for the sake of a £30 pinion kit 😊.
