I've got a sealy 3 way fill side lever grease gun that I'm struggling to get going.

In the past I've run two cartridges through successfully, but on this new one I can't get it to pump anything through the hose. If I have no hose on there I can pump grease through freely, but the second I put a hose on (either a rigid or rubber one) I get no grease. I've tried all the tips I've seen online, back the cylinder off a turn, using the bleed valve, but no joy. Any help greatly appreciated!

Do know if this will help, but I very recently had to get my grease gun going again after a few years of sitting idle.

The outlet pipe was blocked solid with dried grease which had the consistency of wax. I had to soak it in a bath of white spirit overnight and use a length of thin wire to unblock it.

Hope this helps!

Cheers, Steve.
