Hello, I'm hoping this one might be an easy one to answer if they know?

I'm restoring a Cooper sport, and need to get the main gauge bezel repainted on the dash.

Does anybody know what the correct paint to use on it is to get the same colour and matte finish on it that it should have?
Is it the same platinum silver paint used on the roof of the car, just without a clear coat?

Any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

When you say bezel what do you mean? Do you mean the wooden dash, or do you mean the bezel around each of the 3 dials?

The dash itself is an alloy finish, the painted bit is the wooden surround for the main gauges
