Just received these wheels from ultralite, is it safe to only get abt half of the wheel nuts threads in there?

Alloy wheels usually have thicker material. You have to replace the studs for longer ones

Sorry, but they don't appear to be the correct wheelnuts.

The nut inner edge should have a tapered seat or washer which locates in the taper on the wheel casting. I had a set of those wheels on my Mini a few years back and from memory the nuts where closed in and came with a thick tapered washer.

Cheers, Steve.

According to Minispares website, the nuts you've been supplied with are for the steel Cooper "S" wheels. From memory you will need          C-21A1969  wheelnuts which come with the separate tapered washer.

Cheers, Steve.

They are the right nuts according to their Website and the invoice.

There is no room between the studs and the wheel for the C-21A1969 nuts?

As you say, according to the Ultralite website these are the correct nuts. Your photographs though suggest contact between the corners of the nut and the taper which isn’t correct and makes me think the wrong nuts may have been supplied? But yes, you’ll need longer studs.

Is it the same front and rear? Can you take a photo of the front hub and measure the exisiting stud length from the hub face?

The front is 7.5" disc brake and i did measured the studs previously and i think it was ard 20mm if i remember correctly.

I haven't try the rear as am waiting to order the wheel bearings.

Is it the same front and rear? Can you take a photo of the front hub and measure the exisiting stud length from the hub face?
