Good evening all,
New the site as I have a problem which I cannot solve myself.
I am not mechanical minded and have no real experience in fixing cars. I have a 1989 mini city which hasnt been run for about a year. It was a driver with no running issues before but since I parked it up in the garage last year I haven't touched it. I now want to get it up and running but it will not start.
I have replaced the battery, drained all the old fuel and replaced, changed the spark plugs and have tried to put a little fuel down the carb elbow to help it kick into life.. The engine turns but doesn't fire up or seem to even want to give it a go.
Anybody have any ideas I could try before I have to get it recovered to a garage.
