What exact module is it? The modules which fit into a points distributor aren't usually designed for a 0.8 ohm coil.

I didn’t think Accuspark made any modules that are rated to fire a 0.8ohm coil.

A 0.8 ohm coil requires a lot more current (than a 1.5 ohm or 3 ohm coil) and will overheat the module pretty quick

Powerspark make a high energy unit, it has a four sided magnetic trigger wheel and a different module
