Might have dreamt it, but I think there was something along the same lines in the special tuning catalogue. No motor in the middle, some sort of circular track affair.

I think it's the same design to the closest there ever was a factory option. I was only aware of them from the Special Tuning suffix to a parts catalogue.
Back in the day, when nearly all headlights were big round, 2 x little round or square, it would've been easy for BL to buy in such gizmos 'n pass them off as their own.
