De-seaming has been covered loads,.. and recently too!...Try using the search function!
De-seaming is where you cut the seam of 4" at a time and weld it back up (if you cut the whole seam off in one you're mini will spring apart... literally!) It's a wise move to plate behind the join too on the inside of the car. once the welding is done, can grind it smooth and then skim over the join with filler to smooth it out.
it basically makes the shell look like it's all one piece instead of lots of pieces welded up.
Jacks car is in one of the projects sections, either 'mini engined projects' or 'complete rebuild'
