Hi all!!! *waves*

My 1.3 '96 Mini Sprite (spi I think) is misbehaving more than usual, I just cant get her going!

She'll click, but wont start, and I'm desperate!!

I've changed the battery earth strap and cleaned up all the terminals, so its not a weak earth.

After jump starting her, I've used a multimeter to check the battery voltage, and I'm lucky to get 9v, and this drops when I rev it!!

The battery charge light only comes on when jumped and even then it doesnt everytime, and it doesnt stay on, although is should surely, seeing as insufficient volts are getting through?

I changed the battery, and this was ace for 1 day, but that evening I was back to square one!

I'm guessing my alternator isn't charging, and therefore I need a new one. My mate says that an alternator of a MK3 Fiesta ('89-95)....is this correct? Been looking on Ebay, but just dont want to buy the wrong one and get stuck!

Please help! Thanks!!!
