No price as yet as more testing has to be done apparently, which seems a bit strange if you've had multiple blocks cast.

The blocks are Appendix K compliant, have they added a bit of meat here and there? Yup they certainly have, I'm off to HQ on Saturday so I'll have a look at the price but I seem to remember they said around 2K when I asked before.

Interesting, the various historic championships are looking very closely at the interpretation of rules. There was a big conversation at the Revival regarding people straying from the rules. I find it strange that FIA have allowed a new block that’s not the same as the original, but they’ve allowed better heads to be manufactured for A series and the Mini’s are allowed dog boxes, so who knows where it’ll all end.

You may remember last year when all the Lotus cortina's were told to shift the wheel bases back to original spec or they will be binned out, as with all competition, it's how you read the rules, the S block does look std and the measurements will be correct, but you can add a little bit here and there and make all the difference, if you get chance to visit HQ they have the alloy test and a completed block on the counter for you to prod about with, they also have an eight port head as well which is a very nice piece. The down draft on the ports are superb,if someone would put those ports on a seven porter, everybody and his dog would run one.

I remember it well, and they’re still not at factory spec…
