the ones with springs aren't just shocks are they, they're coilovers

which you don't need or want as has been discussed recently https://www.theminif...and-suspension/

Cheers Stuart! I've read all the hilo. What seems increíble that no one like the coilovers, I mean ...the spring ones. My rubber cones are from MiniSport desing by Moulton, and I installed It in 2010. I don't fit new ones at the moment. For me it was a hard job. So...if I buy something, Will be a Protech or GAZ dampers. Lowered ones.

I don't think it's so much that they don't 'like' them, it's more that they're not suitable for the mini suspension geometry, the way they fit means they don't work effectively

or something to that effect anyway, others can give much more detailed reasoning for it I'm sure

I'd call the guys at Protech, the best customer service you'll get.

I'd give another vote for Protech.  A good shocker and excellent customer service.  Konis difficult to adjust and Spax not rebuildable and not quite as good as Protech.
