I am after a rubber surround that goes between the rad and the wing like on earlier cars. Mini spares does https://www.minispar...surround-rubber which is for early vehicles. The first problem is this one is 38mm wide but I want about 50mm on the back of my rad as it's not quite in the original position and the second question is how is it attached to the rad and inner wing?
Has anyone used anything different or similar?

The originals are held on like this, a possible option for a wider one might be a MX motorcycle inner tube split open and trimmed to size.
