Good morning people

 

So after many years of not owning a mini i decided to take the plunge and buy one, i started looking and a shell popped up not far from where i live, so i went and had a look and brought it home 

 

Its not much but i will be trying to complete as much of the build and restoration as i can myself, im not a mechanic, welder or painter but i want to give it all a go

I know the welding isnt great, still trying to get the hang of it, also im currently welding gasless, this will be changed soon 

 

I managed to pick up a carbon front, it needs a little TLC but im happy with it

Looks like Mev was a bit of a lad in his earlier days. Some interesting bits I don't recognise there too, I'll be intrigued to see where they go
