Hiya guys
Recently changed my exhaust on my 1993 1275cc mini Sprite, and I'm now getting the "grunt" from the back of the car. However, the front still sounds pretty poor, so I was thiniking of installing a K&N filter to 'beef' things up.
Trouble is, which one do I get? There are so many it is pretty confusing . Any help/links would be appreciated.
cheers
K&N air filter

not much difference in performance from a k&n cone or a k&n element for your air box, but the cone will be 'louder'

yep if you want noise then a K&N cone filter
remember you will need a tune up afterwards and a possible needle change if its a carb engine

If you want up front noise then fit a webber on a long manifold. You'll also get the rear noise of the petrol tanker following you around.

As previous have said, if you want noise then go for cone, however... If you want more bananas than a cone then go for standard air box and k&n element.
