How do you dismantle the mirror from bracket? Im assuming this wee cover pops off? Anyway of replacing glass as can see glue or delamination around edges and that will do one's nut in 😂

I've tried to dismantle one in the past, it's glued together. The glass delaminates over the years if its left outside or been in a hot area.

To remove it, you need to push it up. I lightly use a small toffee hammer to get it started.

If you can get hold of a good second hand one. A number of cars used the same mirror.

Can you can pop the mirror off the swivelling mount and then just pop the replacement on?

I did it on an older style one but not sure about the later one.
