It looks like the original uses the non vented drive flanges. And don’t use those slot head screws get correct bolts.

I bought all new bolts for the new flanges.  Nice SAE ones that will sit on the shelf while I use the second set of metrics for the new discs.  :-)

Pistons moved back in fine thankfully.

Are these the KAD flanges that should work?!?!

Very interesting info on the spacers - thanks everyone for your input!  For right now I've got the old setup back on.  Drove it for the first time in a few months today and am anxious to get the alignment done and hopefully use it on an event next month!  Hoping the handling will be less scary now I've replaced the bad steering rack!

There's no need for the KAD alloy flanges, unless you want them. Standard steel mini ones are the same, you just need the ones for 8.4" disc setup, not the 7.5" one's.
You will have to enlarge the bolt holes in the flanges from 3/8" to 10mm to suit the metro discs. Yo will also need someone with a lathe to machine 80 thou from the inner face of the discs bell, otherwise it will foul the end of the hub carrier.
KAD supply the discs ready modified to fit.

Not quite. Metros came with vented and solid discs with different offset drive flanges but both had the raised hub centric ring in the centre.

You're not paying attention, but never mind.

Thanks for this imack!  I just received the new steel flanges and the light bulb came on when I went to put the bolts in.  Reading comprehension was never my strong suit.

I think I have more unused new parts on the shelf now than MiniSpares themselves have - watch this space, I'll have my kids put it all up on here when I go!
