I've seen those but didn't want to keep opening the boot to switch it, I thought the remote ones would be very popular but no replies so maybe not very good after all.

Cheaper here:

https://www.ebay.co....8.c101506.m1851

"2.Automatic Cut Off

If the voltage is lower than 11.8V, the remote kill switch will automatically cut off the power supply after 120s to save electricity, if the voltage is higher than 13.2V, the remote control will be disabled to prevent accidental action to shut off the power while driving, and the power supply can only be controlled by the button on the switch."

I, personally, wouldn't risk cheap electronics initiating a shut off, potentially caused by a charging issue, leaving me without lights on a coutry road or, worse, a motorway.

I prefer the isolator switches like this which can be switched off with the engine running without damaging the alternator.  The one I have is very reliable and adds a little extra security.

Only one of the isolators will sop the engine if bumped or jump started.

a visible deterrent works way better than an invisible one.
