Hi all, bit of a shot to nothing but you never know

anyone in Essex got a decent flywheel puller I can borrow for a couple of days, I can buy a cheapo one I suppose but it's one of those 1-use deals, not something you use every day is it

unless you're feeling even more generous and fancy coming over at a weekend and popping it off for me while I supply tea and biscuits.. the wok cover is off already and engine on the stand.  also need to get the bolt off the other end at the same time, need a socket for that as well but I can order that (anyone know the right size? or I can just look it up)

cheers

I am in Dagenham RM9

OK so the one I was going to borrow turned out to be a little flimsy thing that would immediately break .. so we left that

I still need a decent flywheel puller then, if anyone does have one I could borrow (or if anyone wants to pop in and assist)

got other end bolt and timing gear off, cam out, engine rotated round with clutch side upwards and I have locked it in place on the flywheel teeth.  in theory a 10-15min job (ha ha)

any offers of assistance (or pointers to a decent kit at a sensible price) greatly appreciated

Hi Stuart,

I have always used the basic Draper Puller, £27 from B and Q and have had no problems.
