Does anyone have a drivers side mini pickup panel, or indeed a mini pickup that you could measure the hole for the triangle shaped fuel filler neck?

My pickup has had the original hole welded over by a square plate as a previous owner was going to use it as a track car with a fuel cell in the back so I can't see where the original hole was.

I have the triangle shaped filler neck and can make a template of the actual shape of the hole needed from that but I need a measurement or two to get me started.

The measurements I need are the distances marked by the yellow lines on the photo attached.

Appreciate any help offered, cheers to all.

I have an old Mini Van shell that I could measure.

I think the mini van panel angles up from the bottom bumper area to the roof whereas the pickup panel goes vertical from bottom to the top so the horizontal measurement I need from the bottom corner of the fuel filler to the seam might not be the same twixt van and pickup

The height measurement from the bottom seam to the fuel filler might be the same though, so yes please if you could measure them both that would be great, it should get me in the ball park area anyway, many thanks DeadSquare.

Same rear scuttle, so same seam. Do you have a tank? Working off that may be safer. Make a template to put the hole in the floor, if there isn't one.  You ought to then be able to pattern up the tank well enough to make your mark off the filler neck.
