I read the error codes for my daughter's car using the excellent Rover MEMS web app and came across a couple of errors:

Fault - Oil Temperature (high voltage)

Fault - Oil Temp (present)

Fault - Outside air temp (low voltage)

Fault - Outside temp sensor (present)

Would I be right in thinking the oil temperature error was caused by a fault related to this sensor? https://www.minispar...er-for-97on-mpi

The air temperature is a bit more tricky as there doesn't appear to be an outside temperature sensor but it might relate to the inlet air temperature (https://www.minispar...ction-green-top) - does this sound plausible?

Any advice gratefully received...

All of them aren't relative to the MPI. Oil temp doesn't go through the ECU, and there is no outside air temp sensor on minis.

So from this article, could the outside air temperature code be pointing at a fault with B41 - the inlet manifold temperature sensor?

Just test all the sensors without reading the ECU and then you won't be mislead.
