Air horn mounting.

Only I’m a bit stuck as were to mount them with out it making the engine bay look cluttered, and wondered if any one who has fitted a pair of air horns (not the musical ones) would be kind enough to post up a pick or two.
And one other thing I was wondering about is does the compressor have to be mounted vertically, or doesn’t it really matter?
As if it doesn’t I might be able to hide them behind the front valance and front subfame.
Cheers,

The standard Mini horn is rubbish. An air horn just sounds like a joke. If you want something that people will take notice of, nip down your local scrap yard and pinch one off of a big car!

Whaaa! Air horns are great. I got single tone pair of horns. Nice and loud, saved me a few times too.

what about just getting a rally standard clakson horn...about the same size as a normal horn just a bit bigger tho, no compresson needed aswell demon tweeks should do them
I was thinking of those at first as I knew some one with one that sounded pretty beefy, just which he didn’t try it out when he was behind be queuing up to get in to one off the shows, scared the

But will stick with the twin air horns,
Might try and see if I can get them to fit behind the front valance if the compressor doesn’t have to go a certain way up, so then when I open the bonnet there not on show and a hidden, should also protect them a bit as well.
