Firstly, sorry if this is the wrong place, it's 10+ years since I last popped on here (and owned a mini).
Just had a "new" car delivered, doors unlocked, got in it. I locked the passenger door from the inside, got out shut the drivers door and now it won't open and the two keys I have only appear to start the car (ignition) and the fuel cap. I don't know if the drivers door is locked or just buggered and pressing the button doesn't work (I'm sure it worked for me to get it in it originally though) but the passengers door IS locked.
So, I'm asking, what are my options? Obviously brick through the window. If I drill out the barrels is that bad? Mangle it with a screw driver? I'm going to have to replace them anyway with new ones. Can I coax it out by lifting the window seal and trying to pull something up (I have done that on a Mk1 and a mk2 Golf)? Or do I just pay a nice locksmith to come and get me in and see if they can make me a key? I've bent a door back on a Corsa before to unlock it but I'm not sure how well that'll work on a mini as the lock is not easy to get a stick too. Or are there any other options?
I realise that to some extent this is a bit shifty, I'm asking how to break into a car but hopefully you can help, in some way.
Thank you in advance!
