Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that there seems to be lot of air being drawn from the Throttle Body via the Hose to the IACV. The air is making a whistling noise as it passes through the port. Is this normal? I must admit that I have never noticed the whistling before.

I have inspected the Hose and there are no splits, I have also swapped out the IACV with a known good one.

The engine tends to run rich all the time. MOT Friday by the way.

Any ideas?

Quick update, just in case anyone else suffers similar issues, the elbow that the IACV mounts on was blocked.
