Hi all.
I'm needing a new wiper motor. From searching the old internet there seems to be 2 types, some have a black housing and some a silver/goldish housing covering the windings.
They all seem similar priced, just wondering how they perform or if there's no difference in reliability regardless of casing colour.
Cheers folks

Soooo..no replies,I can only assume then that any new/refurbed motor should be fine for many years..

When I replaced mine I got a second hand unit from one of the mini breakers on eBay so I know it would fit, I think it was about £15. I got 3 months warranty with the second hand unit but I assume on a new unit you would get a year or so.

I have heard of a failure of a new one but haven't heard anything else.
