Hi all,

Where I live, there are not many alternatives to 20w50 mineral oil (mainly Castrol GTX).

I recently found I can source Motul classic oil which is supposed to have high zinc content.

Does anybody have experience with this oil?

Cheers.

Gonzalo

I had a quick search around the net for this oil, it seems to have a very high ZDDP content ie 1800ppm which is normally considered too high for the A series engine, further digging seemed to discover it is actually repackaged V twin oil ie suitable for Harley-davidson with there roller lifters and ball/roller bearings. You may be better off staying with Castrol GTX Classic if it's freely available.

Is this Westway oil more acceptable on the zinc content side?
