Hi all,
Can someone give me, in English, in nm, the torque settings for the gearbox bearings? The 3 bolts that preload the double race bearing, the pinion nut and the opposite one? No idea what they're called. My Haynes manual has basically nothing about the gearbox.

Thanks
Pete

There is a whole chapter on gearboxes chapter 6.

you have more to do than just tighten bolts.

have you measured the gap and fitted the correct thickness of shims?

the main shaft retainer bolts should be 18Nm

the nuts are both 207Nm

Some versions of Haynes don't cover the gearbox.
