My 92 year old dad has had an 1100 special in his garage for 30 years, wheeling it out on the odd occasion and doing his best to get it back up and running.
I've got it back to mine, have it running but it needs a new exhaust inc downpipe and a general going over i guess.
Shall I just get the standard 2 box system as everyone who sells the slightly larger bore single box is sold out. Also, is there any mobile mechanics in the Fareham area who I can employ to do the brakes etc?
I've taken pics but can't upload them yet I don't think

I love a Special.  Always wanted one when I was 18 but too new for me then.  I look around for one now.  There was one on Sale at Matthewsons in April but it had oversills.

A lovely find indeed, and this version of the tartan interior is just gorgeous :)

As per the other comments - I'd say one of the best they ever did, and rare now.

Congratulations, both to your dad and you :)
