Please could anyone give me an idea of what it's worth

Hello,

Value, hmmm, that's a tricky one, I guess £200 to someone who wants them.

I can tell you though they are from a MK1 998 Cooper post 1964, until the MK2 came out, as per below.

I paid £50 for pair which was much muckier that that, and had the wrong (sprite) manifold (and a few missing bits I'll have to find like the inlet / airbox tubes)

whoever takes it would have a lot less work to do! but still may need a refurb kit and minor parts (I spent about £150), and potentially other work depending on the condition (butterfly spindle sometimes need rebushing - check for any play, etc)

they sell clean and rebuilt on ebay for easily £5-600 (https://www.ebay.co....4852.m570.l1313) some ask more but would obviously take longer to sell and probably have to be top condition

this one is extremely optimistic IMO https://www.ebay.co....:Bk9SR6j096fQZw

Looks complete could be of an early 997 car or later 998.

It could tickle the fancy of a restorer of an early car.

Thank you Stuart for the ebay links. I'll see if they know if it has been rebuilt

Thank you Nicklouse, sounds like it could be a later mk1 998
