My recently rebuilt engine (now 1293cc) has a very nice inlet manifold with nice smooth internal branches.

At some point someone has removed/pulled out/cut off the two hot-water pipes that would have been in there.

My question is whether a "through tube" has been removed or whether just tube "stubs" have been removed.  I have never seen one in its natural state before.

Can I put a through tube back in (if that's what it had) or just an in & Out tube stub cemented in with epoxy/JB-weld if that would do it?

TIA.

Dan.

I think most had a through pipe, personally I would drill and tap 3/8 NPT and fit the appropriate size barb for your hose sizes.
