I’ve got a problem with my fuel gauge reading being incorrect which sounds all to familiar to us mini owners. In an attempt to solve this I’ve emptied the tank 34ltr tank until the level is just below the sender square hole so I can remove and adjust the sender, at this stage the fuel gauge is reading at the top of the red section. I know I need to slightly bend the arm to adjust the sender but can anybody shed any light on how much fuel may be inis in the tank? Looks to be about 1/2 full to me,

As an old flying instructor said to me "Only trust a fuel gauge when it says 'Empty'. "
I'd recommend siphoning all the fuel out. Adjust the arm so that it reads 'Empty'.
Then replace the fuel.
Mine over-reads when full, but I know it's full 'cause I just filled it.
What I don't want, is to run out of fuel.
