Hi All

I hve posted about this before and made some changes but still in the same situation.

Late summer 2025 my Mini refused to start unless I used quick start into the injector. Once the car had heated up it started first time and ran fine.

After research I have completed the following:

  • Regapped plugs
  • Replaced VAC Pipes
  • Changed Rotor Arm
  • Cleaned Distributor cap
  • Changed Ignistion coil and leads
  • Changed Coolant Temp Sensor

Since then, I am still getting the cold start issue but now only runs on 2 cylinders (I believe this is an issue where I have not torqued up the inlet tight enough) PITA to get to.

I have continued my search to identify the issue and someone has mentioned the Air Temp sensor can cause this issue.

Am I right in thinking that becuase this runs fine onces heated up it rules out Electrical and Fueling issues ?

Thanks

Russ
