Need some advice with my suspension height.   I fitted new FAM3968EVO  minispares evolution rubber cones a good four years ago and the mini is still sitting really high.  At the front from the sill lip its 11 inches to the ground and at the back its 11.5 inches.   I thought it would settle with time but nope.   I've done maybe 1000 miles so maybe a long journey might help..  it rides quite well and is comfy until i get to 60mph+ then the air seems to get under the rear and it feels floaty and unsafe like an aeroplane on takeoff.  Also i noticed the front rebound buffer is still tight against the arm and showing signs of being squashed!  The website says i must fit hilos if i want a standard ride height from new.. but they aren't new.

Is this normal?   Its standard 1987 mini city e fitted with the original trumpets.

It would be best if you could measure it the same way that the manual specifies - from the edge of the wheel arch to the centre of the wheel.
