I'm considering selling my beloved 'Old Poo' - 1979 Russet Brown Mini 850. I've an idea what it might be worth but have been out of the loop for a while so would appreciate some valuations.
I've had the car for 20 years, soon after buying I had some panels replaced by a local bodyshop (front panel, A-panels, wings, door skins, sills, heel boards) and full respray. Waxoiled and garaged ever since, only used in spring & summer, so still looks excellent.
48k miles on the clock (genuine). Four owners including me, the first two were the same family (husband & wife).
In the last 5 years I've done quite a bit of work including:
* Fuel system (new fuel tank, fuel pump, hoses, rebuilt carb etc)
* Braking system (new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes etc)
* Clutch hydraulics (new master cylinder, slave cylinder, actuating arm etc)
* Cooling system (new radiator, water pump, fan, hoses etc)
* New exhaust, battery, seat belts
It has some small modifications:
* Suspension: adjustable ride height, lowered Gaz shocks, negative camber arms, adjustable tie rods, rear camber/tracking brackets
* Grille buttons (didn't want to drill umpteen holes in front panel)
* Front plastic wheel arch liners
* Radius arm shrouds
* Rear mudflaps
* Wheels: sandblasted & painted Old English White
* Later type window weather strips
* Later type boot seal
* Mini 1000 style Tex stainless wing mirror
* Mini 1000 style reclining cloth seats
* Electric fuel pump (with inertia cut-off switch)
* Single box exhaust
Few issues that I know of:
* Chip at the top of the glass in passenger door window (not visible when closed)
* Hole in drivers seat cloth
* Heater seems to go cool with fan on (suspect matrix)
* Some splits in the rubber 'carpets' (but for age, they are very good)
* Roof sound-deadening has drooped and stained headlining in places
Lots of photos here:

Many thanks.
