Advice On Low Oil Pressure Indication System Please.

Hi All,
Scratching my head, advice welcome. Newby so go easy please :)
No oil pressure light on turning ignition.
Blub checked and works.
Bulb has two wires. White and White with Brown stripe.
White has 12v
White with brown continuity checked bulb to sensor connector.All OK.
White with brown stripe removed at sensor end and earthed No light????
What am I missing please.

I'd say the Oil Pressure Switch itself is karput. Cheap and fairly simple to replace.

I'd say the Oil Pressure Switch itself is karput. Cheap and fairly simple to replace.
They said they earthed the wire for the switch and it didn't illuminate.
