Counterfactual – what if BMC had built the Mini 2 in the early 1970s?

Counterfactual – Mini 3: the Metro-based successor that might have been...
"Few cars have proved as difficult to replace as the original Mini, and that is shown in the sheer number of failed attempts along the way.

Looking at Philippe Bouton’s image renderings, which as others have said in the comments, looks like a cross between a Charade, a Fiesta and a Mk3 Micra....I'm just glad these 'AROnline imagined' Mini 2 & 3 never happened and that the original Mini lasted in production with few changes as long as it did! ![]()
