If i turn my lights / fan on with a warm engine i'm getting some slip from the belt, can i just tighten this or is it likely to need replacing? Or is this potentially an alternator issue. Currently getting round this by turning my lights off as i pull away but obviously that's bloody stupid at night.

TIA

It is either worn or just lose. Tighten it. If that fixes it job done.
