The original 'Masterplan' for the Beaulieu National Motor Museum was detailed in link below for 2024-2026 but....

Latest Update Dec 2025:
"We were informed on 10 December 2025 that we had been unsuccessful with our National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) Round 1 application for development phase funding for the ‘Motoring into the Future’ project at the National Motor Museum. Everyone at the Museum is obviously disappointed at this outcome, having worked so hard to pull the application together. We are currently reflecting on the feedback received from NLHF to understand how we can reshape our ambitions, address any concerns, and continue towards the delivery of the Motoring into the Future project, having been encouraged to re-apply for funding in 2026."

Museum Chief Executive, Jon Murden told Practical Classics magazine: "Clearly this news will come as a huge shock to a large number of people. It will also impact the incredible staff and volunteers who make the museum what it is.’ Jon was also keen to emphasise that there is a future for the collection. ‘We are actively exploring a number of options for the collection. I will do everything possible to make sure it stays together.’ The future – after 2030 - of the award-winning museum buildings, the Beaulieu ‘Simply’ events, the two autojumbles and the Beaulieu monorail is secure, because they are looked after by the Beaulieu estate."
