South African built Minis with external hinge doors also featured ADO16-like opening quarterlights and wind-down windows, thanks to engineering input from BMC Australia...where early Mini also had similar winding windows/doors.

Let's hope someone saves what would be a rare Mini in the UK!
I wonder how it ended up in the UK on what seems to be South African plates and will it be reasonably straightforward for any buyer to get a V5c and UK reg number issued?

That's really cool, the doors would be a great addition to any MK1 or 2. Some interesting bits in the sale too.
