My journey continues.
Having got my son's mk1 freed up, I've a dead starter solenoid but that's the easy bit.

The SU fuel pump seems dead. I checked it has power but on removal and connection direct to power it doesn't budge.

I've tried disassembly to look at points but I'm stuck. The pump end won't come off as the diaphragm is holding it. The top is off but I can't get the plate underneath off to get at the points. Something unknown is holding that.

Are there instructions anywhere?.

Google and YouTube nothing came up with my search criteria.
