Due to the nature of the drive shaft sliding in and out of the joint (to a degree) are these rubbers just pushed on, fastened at one end or fastened at both ends?

This is the slip joint on the earlier drive shafts ?

Clip both ends.

Clip both ends.

Yes, Spider.
On assembling them Its self solving by the looks of it.
Clip one end and with hardy spicer pushed fully on to the shaft compress the gator and clip the other end? So as the shaft slides out with suspension movement the gator elongates.
Seems feasible anyway 😁

There's a point on the drive shaft that's machined for the gaiter to nestle in to. There's a similar one the outer.

Im using MED shafts and just realised they dont have the recesses so I'm just going to have to experiment on that side of things.
I can clip them up on the hardy spicer side though so 50% there 😁👍🏻
