Has anyone got any tips on refitting the headlining?
What glue do we use?
Do we start at the front or the back?
Generally any tips would be gratefully recieved!!

Any recommendations on glue, as I reckon a combination of both might work

evo-stik contact adhesive, wont beat it
Isn't that a bit unforgiving if U get it wrong, I am doing this with her indoors & she always gets this sort of thing wrong ...... shes female!!
I was looking ideally for a glue that sets semi hard, so I can make adjustments on her side! anyone any ideas what was used at the factory ?

no glue! It might look good for a year or so, but after its been heat cycled it stains the headlining meaning you only have to do it again. And especially evo-stick contact adhesive with white or cream lining! The glue is brown, and your headlining will be soon after! :s
Fair enough, never had that problem as mine was black
looks like double sided tape is the way to go

however if you do use it, use propper contact adhesive not the solvent free stuff (it simply doesnt work)!
also get ova to staples and buy loads of the smallest buldog clips (pegs just aint strong enuf!) i used 160 clips and dit it it two halves so 320 if i wanted to do it in one go! sounds excessive i know and it almost certainly is but they are only cheap (think 160 were £3-£4) and considerably cheaper than havin to pay someone to do it!
start wherever and dont use any glue at first just clips. keep going round tensioning everywhere till there are no wrinkles. you should end up with it exactly how you want it but covered in clips! take a row of 4-5 clips off, glue and trim, replace the clips and continues working your way round.
it takes ages and its very frustrating, you just need the patience and you can get realy good results first time.
good luck
