Soon as I reach about 2500 under normal acceleration, my rev-counter jumps up to 8000, back to 1000, to 9000, to 5000, just generally all randomly over the place! It soon levels out though. It does it at idle sometimes too, it will be at a nice 900, then jump to the top of the shop and back again. Sometimes it jumps all over the place with just the key in the II position!

It's crazyyyy!

Why?

sounds like a loose connection on the coil!! or power supplies to the coil/rev counter
