Bought a timing light and engine is running really sweet now. I changed my earth's around and it is sweet, but can't get my brand new Lumention optronic kit to work (the one with the finned box). I set it up very carefully, but can't get a spark.
Bloody fibrefglass cars who'd have em!

A cross member also attaches to the two front sections just above the windscreen. It is attached using a pair of the same things. Three bolts go through the holes in the bracket, right through the tubes and as you tighten them it clamps on to the other tube that passes through the round end.

I have got some more suitable tube for free and want to make up door bars, a rear cross member and a front cross member that goes parrallel to the bottom dash rail under my Carbon dash.

These brackets/clamps/thingys must be from something like stage scaffolding, temporary fencing or garden climbing frame or swing structure or something? I have been scouring the world but can't see anything suitable.

Does anyone know what or where they are from?

or

Does anyone know where I can get something that will do the same job?

The diammeter of the tube is about 2inches

They do look like brackets off a kiddies climbing frame. I've just dismantled my bairns one and they look very similar. :P

Look lovely...
...but when fitting them in a hurry, my mate, who is now known as 'p1ss flap w@nk face' placed the jack precariously and it slipped. He trapped his hand between the un fixed near side wheel and the wheel arch Luckily (I suppose) it cracked my wheel arch and didn't do any permanent damage to his hand.
However, it cracked the paint on that perfectly blended arch and the jack has done some serious jiggery pokery.

The front wheels now don't sit inline. I think the subframe may be bent but I will investigate!

Nah, I would of thought of it the other way around, he's always got a spare hand, and by the sounds of it he doesn't use he's brain much so what good are his hands anyway!! Let him be a one handed socail outkast!!

I have a new saying:

If you blend it...
...be prepared to mend it!

Latest update. Heated screen is wired in. Fan is working, and electronic ignition is fitted.
Still have wiring issues tho.
But I'm off to the rollers next month
Despite the gueswork mixture, the car performed brilliantly at Lydden at the start of the month!

I know my mate has a pic! Some w@nker has copied it. It is uncanny! Was it definately a minus Ade because it doesn't look that small. Could be an FRA shell? Got no bonnet bulges either.
I will get my mate to e-mail the pic.
Bit of shoddy work on the arches tho, they are far too high at the back!
