Only john copper works were, what about just normal coppers from 2000? or what about copper sports? All 4 speed boxes even in year 2000, seems unusual

All Coopers after 1991 are injection, but the Mini Sprite, Mayfair and a few LE's got HIF38 carbs with their 1275cc engines until briefly going SPi too from 1994/95.

I think the injection engine was optional until '94 on any model.

No late 1991 the Mini Cooper went SPi, if you have a Mainstream registered after that date then it was simply a very late registered example because all Coopers were manufactured with single point fuel injection after 1991.

In 1992 the 998cc engine was dropped and all Minis ran with the 1275cc engine but non Coopers used the HIF38 carb (the RSP & Mainstream Coopers had used the MG Metro HIF44) up to around 1994/95 before briefly going SPi too.

Then in late 1996 the Twin-Point/MPi Minis were launched but Japanease spec Minis kept the side mounted radiators so air-conditioning could easily be fitted (well that's what I've heard) and whilst visiting the Mini production line at Longbridge during June 1998 I did see a few side mounted radiator Minis coming down the line. I don't know if they were SPi or MPi though?

yep all 4 speed

But the Twin-Point got very high gearing or 4th gear acts like a 5th gear so cruising along the motorway is quite civilised.
